Sensitivity Analysis of the Induction Motor’s Torque-Speed Characteristic towards Equivalent Circuit Parameters Variations
In this paper, a sensitivity analysis of the induction motor’s torque-speed characteristic to variations in equivalent circuit parameters was carried out. The sensitivity analysis was performed on a two-pole 75 kW induction motor using Monte Carlo simulation. The analysis has shown that the influence of rotor parameters at the motor start, as well as the stator and rotor leakage reactance, on the torque-speed characteristic is the greatest. In contrast, the influence of the stator and rotor resistance is significantly smaller, and the influence of the parameters of the magnetizing branch is negligibly small.
