Pathways to Enhancement of Digital Platforms for Community Healthcare

Online medical communities provide convenient and efficient medical services for residents, and digital platforms are an important way to improve the quality and efficiency of community medical services. Exploring the influencing factors of the construction of community healthcare digital platforms can ultimately help improve the overall effectiveness of the community medical and health service system and realize the goal of ‘Healthy China’. In this paper, we use the rooting theory, obtain original data through semi-structured interviews, sort out the influencing factors of community healthcare digital platform construction by going through the stages of open coding, axial coding, selective coding, and saturation testing, construct a model of the influencing factors, and elucidate four dimensions that influence the construction of these platforms. The four dimensions have specific influences on the construction. To improve the level of community healthcare digital platform construction, the improvement path is: strengthening the professional quality of personnel serves as the foundation, improving the external environment is the key, enhancing information technology is the core driving force, and ensuring high-quality data services is the future direction.
