This study examines the extent of destruction in Afghanistan, Pakistan’s contributions to the war on terror, the social impact on Afghan society, and global efforts toward Afghanistan’s reconstruction. Design/Methodology/Approach: A qualitative approach was used, employing meta-analysis to evaluate historical, empirical, descriptive, and analytical perspectives on Afghanistan’s war on terror. Primary data was obtained from unpublished office files, while secondary sources included U.S. foreign policy documents, books, journals, newspaper articles, conference papers, and documentaries. The study follows APA referencing style and qualitative methods to provide a comprehensive analysis. Findings: The research reveals that the war on terror has severely damaged Afghanistan’s infrastructure and disrupted its social fabric. Afghan society has repeatedly suffered due to prolonged conflict, resulting in lasting instability. Future policies must address these consequences and prioritize sustainable peace. Implications/Originality/Value: This study emphasizes the need for regional and international collaboration to rebuild Afghanistan. Achieving long-term peace is not only crucial for Afghanistan but also essential for the security and stability of the entire region.
