High spatiotemporal resolution photoacoustic microscopy based on miniature ultrasound transducer (Conference Presentation)
We developed OR-PAM achieving high spatiotemporal resolution and large FOV based on miniature transducer (mini-UT). Initially, we developed an OR-PAM with a spatial resolution of 800 nm, a FOV of 0.5 mm×0.5 mm, and a frame rate of 8 Hz using single mini-UT. Further, we expanded the FOV to 1 mm×1 mm while maintaining the same spatiotemporal resolution using a ring of 4 mini-UTs. To expand the FOV further, we integrated a linear array of 8 mini-UTs with a polygon scanning mirror, and achieved a FOV of 6 mm*6 mm and a frame rate of 1 Hz.
