A trifluoromethyl group-incorporated spacer in 2D perovskite-based photodetectors with good responsivity and a big Pb–I–Pb bond angle: the first example of an aliphatic linearly-chained spacer forming non-classical hydrophobic hydrogen bonding
For the first time, we report a trifluoromethyl group-incorporated aliphatic linearly-chained 2D (3F-PAH) 2 PbI 4 halide perovskite (HP) with a low bandgap of 2.28 eV, minimal Pb–I–Pb bond angle distortion (∼153.5°) and a unique fluorous phase.
