Credit Card Fraud Detection Using Machine Learning Techniques

To prevent consumers from being charged for purchases they did not make, credit card companies must efficiently identify fraudulent transactions. Data science and machine learning plays a crucial role in addressing this challenge. This study explores how machine learning can be used to analyse credit card transaction data for fraud detection. By examining past transactions and identifying patterns in those confirmed as fraudulent, a predictive model can be developed. This model helps determine whether new transactions are potentially fraudulent. The core emphasis of this research is on enhancing fraud detection.
