Analysis of the Transparency of Cs2CuBiCl6 Based PV cell through the SCAPS-1D

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact that changes in transparency have on the efficiency of PV cells developed using Cs2CuBiCl6. It has been seen that increasing the level of openness from 10% to 95% results in significant gains over critical indicators. The short-circuit current density (JSC) sees a large increase, going from 3.67 to 34.90 mA/cm2, which indicates that there is a major improvement in the absorption of light and the production of electron-hole pairs. Since the fill factor (FF) has increased from 69.56% to 71.76%, this indicates that the efficiency with which charge carriers are collected has improved, and that losses caused by recombination have decreased. As a consequence of this, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the solar cell dramatically increases, going from 0.77% to 8.96%. The findings highlight the critical significance of transparency in enhancing the efficiency of solar cells based on Cs2CuBiCl6, which ultimately leads in a more efficient conversion of light into energy. As a result, they have a great deal of potential for commercial applications in the field of photovoltaics.
