Optimizing Urban Parking Management: A Sensor-Driven, Software-Integrated Approach for Enhanced Efficiency and Sustainability
Urbanization has led to a significant rise in traffic congestion, which in turn has worsened air pollution and contributed to the problem of illegal parking. These issues not only harm the environment but also decrease the efficiency of urban systems. A potential solution involves better vehicle management and optimized use of parking spaces. Our approach leverages software and sensor integration to allow users to locate nearby parking spots, reserve them, and make cashless payments via a website. The system includes OTP verification for secure access to designated parking spaces, while sensors provide real-time updates on slot availability, enhancing security and making the parking process more convenient and efficient.
