Design of SSSC-Based Damping Controller: - A Hybrid PSO-GSA Algorithm Approach
This research aims to illustrate a practical approach to scheduling an SSSC damping controller installed in a SMIB power system. Power systems have long employed damping controllers to lessen low-frequency oscillation. This challenge is thought of as an optimization problem. The conventional GSA and the PSO algorithm's exploration and exploitation features are combined to create a hybrid approach that can be used to modify the controller parameters. According to the results of the simulation, the hybrid approach that has been proposed is the most efficient way to define the damping controller.
