Diagnosis of Oil immersed Paper insulation Sample Using Resistance Profile of Time Varying Model
This paper explores the application of polarization current profiles for assessing the oil-paper insulation condition. A Time Varying Model (TVM) is utilized to simulate the polarization current, facilitating the evaluation of the insulation's health. A parameter sensitive to insulation condition is developed from the time-varying resistance profile, which effectively tracks the health of an oil-paper sample prepared in the laboratory.
