Role of Charging Infrastructure in Sustainable Transportation
The increasing global adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) is motivated by concerns over urban air pollution, energy independence, and climate change. The expansion of EV usage is closely tied to the accessibility and efficiency of charging infrastructure. This paper provides a thorough analysis of various aspects related to EV charging, including integration into the power grid, infrastructure development, emerging trends, and charging technologies. It examines the current state of EV charging technology, explores the opportunities and challenges of infrastructure expansion, assesses impacts on grid management, and proposes recommendations for future research and improvement. This paper offers valuable insights into the key factors influencing the growth of EV charging infrastructure and their role in facilitating the shift towards more sustainable transportation solutions.
