Research Data Management for Terahertz Research

Progress in fundamental Terahertz research and technology strongly depends on the availability of profound and reliable data assets. Sustainable and open research data management provides technical infrastructure as well as a basis for standardized data catalogues in order to overcome this known bottleneck. The project VERIE demonstrates how a customized database in combination with quality measures can lead to a new external data repository for Terahertz research.

Abstract

Progress in fundamental Terahertz research and technology strongly depends on the availability of profound and reliable data assets. Sustainable and open research data management provides technical infrastructure as well as a basis for standardized data catalogues in order to overcome this known bottleneck. The project VERIE demonstrates how a customized database in combination with quality measures can lead to a new external data repository for Terahertz research.
