Gran ganga po kryzysie albo poza zasadą tożsamości. Szekspir idzie na Almodóvara
This article is devoted to the forms of subjectivity that could emerge after the crisis of the human concept characteristic of modern thought. The author of the article draws a picture of subjectivity as non-sovereign, multiplied, and inseparable from the performative-theatrical aspect. To embody this concept – which borrows its basic tenets from Judith Butler – the author analyzes four comedies by William Shakespeare and four films by Pedro Almodóvar, emphasizing the inter-gender dynamics of subject transformations in these works. The conclusion particularly emphasizes the corporeal dimension of these transformations. Keywords: subject, identity, gender, Shakespeare, Almodóvar, theatricality, corporeality
