Advancements in Biometric Security: Machine Learning Approaches

Security is of utmost importance in our daily lives, particularly when it comes to the applications and devices we utilize for various purposes, such as office work or the storage of sensitive information like images. Ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding such data necessitates the implementation of robust security measures. Security is a key consideration for both organizations and individuals that seek to safeguard their tasks. User credentials are often verified through the process of verifying user credentials, which typically involves the utilization of a username and password. The majority of applications and devices apply security protections through this method. The most common ways of username and password-based authentication is used and easily prone to many cyber threats. Cyber threats like: brute-force attacks, dictionary attacks, credential stuffing, phishing etc. Biometric based security has many advantages over username and password to vulnerabilities of authentication threats faced. In this paper we presented different biometric security protocols using different machine learning techniques which can be implemented in devices and applications for better security measures.
