A Beginner’s Guide for Policymakers and Governance for a Green Hydrogen Ecosystem
Expanding the use of hydrogen on a vast scale has gained increasing attention over the past two decades, although use of hydrogen for industrial purposes has been well established for more than a century. The current focus on green hydrogen produced from clean (non carbon) primary sources is largely driven by the broader challenge of decarbonizing the global economy. Green hydrogen has enormous potential for advancing a low-carbon future within the hard-to-abate sectors and also for shaping the issue of energy security.
