Hybrid Energy System Design for Transportation Using QC Technique
In sea transportation, power systems include all the parts that go into making a ship's engine work. These include batteries, energy sources, distribution, and energy usage units. The marine business is moving more and more toward electric power. More and more people are interested in hybrid electric systems that use gasoline engines, power sources, hydrogen cells, rooftop solar panels, and other energy sources. To make ships better for the environment, we need to speed up the development of Hybrid Energy Systems (HES). To make naval power systems last longer, cost less, and be better for the environment, it is important to get the setup right and monitor how much energy they use. A study on the Hybrid Energy System for Smart Marine Transportation Using Quantum Computing (HES-SMT-QC) is presented in this paper. The Energy Management System (EMS) objective function is optimized using the multi-objective Quantum Enhanced Particle Swarm Optimization (QEPSO) method to get the best schedule for the HES-SMT in real-time. The study used HES control tests to compare different systems. The tests showed that this research's EMS approach worked better than other systems. Due to the planned HES with QEPSO, MTS has seen a drop in operating costs, fuel prices, and algorithm working time.
