PBL in Web Application Development: Study on a Construction Worker Hiring Website
This study investigates the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PBL) over a ten-week period, focusing on the development of a web application designed for hiring construction professionals. Carried out within the context of a technology-focused faculty, the research aims to evaluate how PBL impacts students' proficiency in web application development and their overall educational journey. It provides an examination of the pedagogical potential of PBL in refining practical skills in web development, offering a nuanced understanding of its influence on learning within this domain. Drawing from previous studies that have demonstrated the positive impact of PBL on skill development and problem-solving abilities in real-world scenarios, this research anticipates favorable outcomes in enhancing students' capabilities and learning experiences. By aligning with these previous findings, the study aims to contribute to the expanding body of knowledge on effective educational methodologies, ultimately benefiting both students and educators in the field of web application development.
