Az ártér birtokjoga, környezeti jellemzői és használati értéke a Nagykunságban az átfogó Tisza-szabályozást megelőzően

One of the main objectives of the research summarized in this study was to quantitatively and qualitatively investigate the floodplain in the Nagykunság, primarily with the aim of providing a basis for a more comprehensive assessment of the benefits of floodplain management. Contemporary manuscript maps, which were the main source of the reconstruction, were processed using modern geoinformatics methods and digital elevation models. One of the most significant events in the anthropogenic environmental transformation of the Carpathian Basin was undoubtedly the extensive water management that started in the 19th century and had a major impact on the area under study. A more in-depth study of floodplain management is needed, above all, to better appreciate the process of transformation in its context. In addition, the study will address the social history of landscape use, which can be understood primarily in terms of the different interests of different social groups and the fault lines between them.
