Ozonioterapia para Gordura Localizada
ABSTRACT Ozone therapy has emerged as an innovative technique for reducing localized fat, offering a minimally invasive option in response to the growing demand for non-surgical methods. This study aims to evaluate its efficacy compared to other aesthetic treatments, such as carboxytherapy and radiofrequency, identifying its benefits and limitations. The methodology adopted was a literature review, searching academic databases such as Google Scholar, focusing on articles published between 2018 and 2023 that addressed the aesthetic use of ozone therapy. Studies with empirical evidence on its application in fat reduction were included, while articles without representative data were excluded. The qualitative analysis of the results indicated that ozone therapy promotes lipolysis and improves skin quality, being especially effective in difficult-to-treat areas such as the abdomen and thighs. In addition, it stimulates lymphatic drainage and tissue oxygenation, favoring a more defined body contour. The findings suggest that, in addition to helping to reduce localized fat, ozone therapy offers anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects that benefit skin health. In summary, ozone therapy emerges as a promising and safe alternative for patients seeking aesthetic results without the need for surgery, expanding the options available in aesthetic medicine.
