Attitude of Pre-Service Teachers Towards Gamification in the Teaching- Learning Process

Gamification is the newest education strategy using game-like features; it boosts engagement and motivation in learning through rewards, challenges, and interactive storytelling. This study looked into the attitudes of pre-service teachers towards gamification in the teaching- learning process. Using a quantitative approach, an online survey was conducted through a self- developed questionnaire, which was sent to pre-service teachers. The questionnaire tackled awareness, perceptions, advantages, challenges, and options regarding gamification in education. In conclusion, pre-service teachers like gamification, but their limited hands-on experience means there are still gaps in resources and knowledge. Such challenges can be addressed to encourage more gamification in educational settings through teacher training and policies.
