Criminology and Sociological Inquiry of Internet Rumors
Whenever highly influential social events, as well as public events, occur, rampant Internet rumors always follow. Online rumors not only cover up the truth of the facts and cause social panic, but also lead to people's distrust of social morality and government governance, thus laying deeper hidden dangers. The author tries to explore the motivation of rumorists from the perspective of combining criminology and sociology, and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the governance of online rumors.
