Fast and ultrawide multispectral photoacoustic microscopy of mouse brain in-vivo
Multispectral photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) is an essential tool for obtaining high-resolution images of biological tissues, providing crucial insights into the brain's structural and functional dynamics. This study introduces a novel, rapid, and ultrawide approach to multispectral PAM, specifically designed for in vivo imaging of the mouse brain. By integrating advanced optical and acoustic technologies, our approach achieves exceptional imaging speed and spatial resolution over a wide spectral range. We demonstrate the system’s effectiveness in capturing real-time hemodynamic responses and oxygenation changes, offering detailed information on cerebral vascular architecture and functionality.
