Highly thermal tunable propagating surface plasmons on supported novel metamaterials
The capacity to manipulate light at the subwavelength scale is essential for the downsizing of optical devices to a size suitable with contemporary nanoelectronic circuits. Surface plasmons are a tool that can be used to alter light at the nanoscale scale in the rapidly developing field of plasmonics. Artificial electromagnetic structures that provide material properties do not present in nature are called metamaterials. The study examines several temperature-dependent characteristics of surface plasmon polaritons supported by novel metamaterials. The suggested arrangement may find use in THz sensing, imaging, and spectroscopy.
