Counting lifts of irreducible Brauer characters

Let [Formula: see text] be an odd prime, and suppose that [Formula: see text] is a [Formula: see text]-solvable group and [Formula: see text] has vertex [Formula: see text]. In 2011, Cossey et al. proved that the number of lifts of [Formula: see text] is at most [Formula: see text] whenever [Formula: see text] is normal in [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we present an explicit description of the set of lifts of [Formula: see text] with a given vertex pair [Formula: see text] under a weaker condition on [Formula: see text], and thus generalize their result.
