Rechargeable, Portable Wireless EEG Signal Acquisition System Based on ADS1299

A multi-channel EEG acquisition system based on ADS1299 is proposed for real-time detection of EEG signals. The acquisition system consists of analog front-end preprocessing circuits, MCU, Bluetooth module and power supply module, which can simultaneously acquire continuous EEG signal data from 16 channels, and the microcontroller packages the data and sends it to the computer side via Bluetooth to display the waveforms, which is featured by small size, low input noise and wireless communication. The system supports the hardware connector to connect to the external EEG cap to complete the acquisition of EEG signals. The power supply section of this system utilizes a 3.7V lithium battery, and adds a power charging management chip to boost the lithium battery voltage to 5V after the power supply for the whole system, realizing the rechargeable function.
