Specific Cu2O surfaces for electrocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction

Cu 2 O rhombic dodecahedra are more active towards electrochemical oxygen reduction reaction than octahedra and cubes on a carbon nanotube matrix. Density functional theory calculations provide mechanistic insights to understand this facet dependence.
