Synergistic effect of Mo and Sn in a quaternary metal sulphide to activate N2 adsorption for selective solar-driven ammonia production
Incorporation of Mo and Sn into CdS (Cd 0.60 Mo 0.20 Sn 0.20 S) boost 8-fold photocatalytic NH 3 production with 100% selectivity from N 2 compared to CdS via optimizing band structure, enhancing charge carrier separation, and facilitating N 2 activation.
