Wearable health monitoring system using multispectral sensing with visible and near-infrared light
This research introduces a wearable health monitoring system based on multispectral sensing technology. Utilizing light across visible to near-infrared wavelengths, this system non-invasively captures spectral data from ten different wavelengths to assess physiological signals from multiple tissue layers. By integrating Photoplethysmography (PPG) and Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) technologies, our system can continuously and accurately monitor physiological parameters such as heart rate, changes in hemoglobin concentration, and peripheral vascular resistance. This approach aims to enhance personal health monitoring by providing users with detailed health insights in a convenient and effective manner, attempting to bridge the gap between daily health management and clinical diagnostics.
