Acoustic wave communication system based on single-chip microcomputer
Wireless communication technologies predominantly utilize electromagnetic waves as the transmission medium, and due to the limitations imposed by the characteristics of electromagnetic waves, there are factors that inevitably affect communication quality. The increasing number of Internet of things (IOT) devices will also lead to the issue of incompatibility among traditional electromagnetic wave communications. This article proposes a sound wave communication system based on microcontroller control, aiming to solve the limitations of traditional electromagnetic wave communication in special environments such as complex electromagnetic environment, underwater, metal containers, and harsh weather. The data encoding in the system adopts the American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) standard, and each character is composed of 8-bit binary numbers. The character recognition is improved through the frame header signal, and the pulse complementary processing method is used to enhance the anti-interference performance of the communication system. Theoretical research has shown that the system has good communication performance and stability in specific environments, and can change the communication rate by reasonably modifying the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal output duration. The configuration introduced in this article sets the communication rate to 83 bit/s, which can be applied to near-field communication scenarios with short command transmission. Acoustic near-field communication has strong environmental adaptability and security, ensuring secure and confidential communication in areas with severe electromagnetic interference. To achieve acoustic near-field communication, only the device needs to have audio input and output capabilities, making it an economical and efficient short-range communication solution.
