Effect of the defect La<sub>P</sub> in KDP crystals: first-principles study
The defects change the atomic distances, leading to lattice distortion and inducing the generation of intrinsic defects. γ-Ray irradiation can cause a transition in the defect charge state, resulting in a red-shift of the absorption peak.
