Exploring automatic syntactic translation methods across heterogeneous databases based on the principle of functional equivalence
In the era of big data, the proliferation of heterogeneous databases presents critical challenges concerning data integration and interoperability. Among these challenges, syntactic disparities emerge as a primary obstacle. This paper proposes an automatic syntax translation approach for heterogeneous databases grounded in the theory of functional equivalence, with the aim of fostering database fusion and interoperability. Initially, the method undertakes an analysis to extract the core functional traits of each database, followed by the design of a repository of syntax conversion rules to enable automated translation across databases. Through practical application, this approach has exhibited promising efficacy.
