The Use of Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy: A Committee Opinion
(Abstracted from Fertil Steril 2024;122:421–434) Preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) is a rapidly evolving IVF technology that uses various molecular techniques to determine embryo ploidy and select the most viable embryo for transfer. Earlier iterations relied on fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), whereas more recent methods utilize next-generation sequencing.
