Performance Analysis of Jammer Assisted Covert Wireless Transmission in Distributed Passive DFRC Systems
ABSTRACT This letter investigates covert wireless transmission in distributed passive dual‐function radar and communication systems. The optimal detection threshold and minimum detection error probability of adversary warden is derived. The closed‐form solution for the optimal transmit power for the integrated base station (BS) is calculated to maximize covert rate while ensuring radar detection constraints. Simulation shows that the covert rate peaks at an optimal BS power before declining to zero due to detection risks.
