METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE FORMATION OF DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES FOR THE ARCTIC REGION

The Arctic is becoming a global center of strategic interests of the world community today, which are due to effective sustainable region development requires flexible adaptive strategies based on a deep analysis of the current situation and a vision of future trends. The article presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of the strategic development of the Arctic: key trends and scenarios for the development of the Arctic are identified, the place of event activity in strategic development is determined, a typology of Arctic strategies is proposed, and methodological approaches to the formation of Arctic policy are identified.
