Dual-labeled CEA-targeted imaging for gastrointestinal cancer
Dual-labeling of tumor targeting ligands has the potential to overcome limitations of a single-modality approach. Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) is overexpressed in various cancer types, it is overexpressed in 80-90% of colorectal cancers, making it a suitable target. In this presentation, we will highlight preclinical development and clinical translation of dual-labeled anti-CEA antibodies such as 111In-labeled SGM-101 and DOTA-IRDye800CW-labetuzumab. Dual-labeled imaging is a promising strategy to improve surgical precision and patient outcomes, although challenges remain for commercialization and reimbursement.
