High spatial-temporal resolution short-wave infrared 3D imaging
Near-infrared II (NIR-II) or short-wave infrared (SWIR) fluorescence imaging, operating in the 1000-1700 nm range, excels in deep tissue penetration, reduced scattering, and low autofluorescence, offering higher resolution for biomedical applications. We propose a high spatial-temporal resolution 3D imaging technique in the NIR-II region, using anamorphic optics for compressive light field capturing. This method enables high-quality 3D reconstruction comparable to full resolution 2D images, using a standard SWIR sensor with a 640×512 pixel count. Our system maintains the sensor’s original frame rate, validated through various tissue phantoms, demonstrating its potential for high-volume rate, high-resolution deep tissue imaging.
