A Study on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Optimizing Green Cosmetic Ingredients by the Manufacturers of Green Cosmetic Products in Madurai City

The adoption of eco-friendly procedures in the cosmetic business has accelerated in recent years, owing to customer demand for sustainable and green goods. This study investigates the function of artificial intelligence (AI) in maximizing the development of green cosmetic components by manufacturers in Madurai city. Manufacturers may use AI technologies like machine learning algorithms, data analytics, and predictive modelling to find sustainable raw materials, improve formulation efficiency, and maintain product quality while reducing environmental effect. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative insights from industry practitioners to explore the implementation and outcomes of AI-driven strategies. Key findings reveal that AI not only reduces resource wastage but also supports compliance with environmental regulations and innovation in product design. However, the study also identifies challenges such as high implementation costs and the need for skilled personnel, which hinder widespread adoption. This paper concludes that the integration of AI in the green cosmetics sector is essential for sustainable growth. It highlights the potential of AI to transform traditional manufacturing practices, paving the way for a more environmentally conscious and technologically advanced industry in Madurai City.
