Acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) is a number of diseases mainly of the upper respiratory tract of viral etiology. ARVI occupy a leading place among all infectious diseases. The risk of developing complications can be up to 24%. There are measures to prevent complications: vaccination of the general population, for the treatment of the patient, the right choice of therapy is needed, that is, the appointment of etiotropic drugs aimed at stopping the replication of the virus. One of these medicines included in the clinical recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is enisamia iodide. It has a direct antiviral effect, is active against a wide range of pathogens of ARVI and influenza. According to research, enisamia iodide helps to reduce the symptoms of the disease from the 2nd day of therapy, reduce the duration of the disease and prevent complications requiring additional antibiotic administration.
