Formación socioemocional en los estudiantes universitarios. Un acercamiento desde sus experiencias de vida

The objective of this research is to analyze the socioemotional formation managed by university students, based on their life experiences through which they have passed as social subjects. The methodology employed is phenomenological-hermeneutic, using the in-depth interview as a research technique. According to the findings obtained, the impacts of socioemotional formation reported by the participating students were defined in six units of analysis, namely: emotional awareness, emotional regulation, personal autonomy, interpersonal intelligence, life skills and well-being, and university status. The importance of situating university students as subjects of experiences and school spaces as spaces of socioemotional formation that contribute to the formation of students with emotional awareness, regulation and autonomy is emphasized.
