The second part of the research, which includes critique and analysis of the standard in its two parts, will be published in a separate article. The article begins with a general introduction to the standard, explaining the importance of records and their management, as well as the necessity of adhering to international standards when addressing records management. It also outlines the scope of the standard and its relationship to other standards related to records management. The article includes a discussion of the difficulties faced by the researcher in completing the translation. Each translation is introduced with a preface that highlights the nature of the standard, its significance, and the key terms mentioned within it.
