Increasing the informativeness of LWD complex using gas logging data for operational geo-navigation when drilling horizontal wells for oil and gas

The article considers the urgent problem when drilling horizontal wells is the presence of a non-dimensional zone in well-borehires. In this connection, there is a high probability of leaving the target interval when wiring horizontal wells and, as a result, a decrease in the flow rate. In such cases, the importance and need for interpretation of gas carotage, conducted by a station of geological and technological research, increases. This method allows you to solve a whole range of problems, namely: operational release in the context of wells of promising oil and gas-layers, the study of their filtration and capacitive properties and the nature of saturation. The article describes examples of the use of gas carotage for the operational determination of high-speed oil, faults in the drilling range, as well as the receipt of additional information on reservoir pressure for the end of horizontal wells. The results of assessment of converters of these logging and gas carotage are also given.
