Impact of Teamwork and Parental Education on Critical Thinking and ProblemSolving Skills: A Quantitative Analysis

This study investigates the impact of teamwork and parental educational background on students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from a sample of 119 participants through structured questionnaires. Multiple regression analysis was employed to examine the relationships between the variables. The results indicate that teamwork plays a significant role in enhancing students' cognitive abilities, with a strong positive effect observed (p < .001). Parental educational background did not show a statistically significant impact on students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The findings emphasize the importance of collaborative learning environments in fostering students' cognitive development. The study contributes to the existing body of research on educational strategies by highlighting the need for institutions to incorporate teamwork-based learning approaches. Future research should explore additional factors such as socio-emotional influences and technological interventions to further understand their role in cognitive skill development.
