Some Aspects of the Legal Status of Minority Shareholders in the Retrospect of Russian Laws

The article is devoted to the study of the legal status of minority shareholders in the historical aspect. The author analyzes the history of the emergence of joint-stock companies and the concept of “shareholder”. The author considers such a legal institution as “unfair infringement of interests”. As a result of the conducted research, the author proposes to introduce the concept of “minority shareholders” into the legislation of the Russian Federation.
