Attitude control method for tilt-trirotor UAV based on adaptive fuzzy PID

Abstract This study introduces an adaptive fuzzy PID control-based approach for managing the attitude of a tilt-trirotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This approach employs fuzzy logic to dynamically adjust the parameters of the PID controller in real time, enabling the control system to effectively adapt to changing flight conditions and external perturbations. Simulation results indicate that, in contrast to conventional PID control techniques, the adaptive fuzzy PID-based control method exhibits significant improvements in response speed, steady-state error, and disturbance rejection capability.
