Time stretch with continuous-wave lasers
Ultrafast single-shot measurement techniques are crucial for capturing rare, short-time-scale events in complex systems. Photonic time stretch is effective but limited by expensive, inflexible supercontinuum lasers. This study introduces a cost-effective alternative using electrooptically modulated Continuous Wave (CW) lasers, enabling synchronization with incoming signals. Applications in time stretch microscopy and light scattering are explored.
