Parameterized airfoil icing application based on reduced-order model

Abstract This article mainly researches the optimization design of airfoil ice storage. Firstly, the CST parameterization method of airfoil is introduced. Then, based on this method, a fast ice shape prediction and reduction model is established. The accuracy of this method is verified by numerical simulation. The results show that this method can effectively reduce the time-consuming numerical simulation samples and achieve fast prediction of parameterized airfoil icing. The optimization design of ice storage can use this reduced order model to estimate the icing situation, without the need for continuous icing simulation calculations during the optimization design process, which can greatly improve the efficiency of the optimization design.
