SPECIFIC OPERATIONAL RISKS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Aim. Identification and classification of specific operational risks, which are typical for educational institutions, taking into account their impact on the learning process and managerial effectiveness, as well as development of recommendations to minimize them in order to ensure the sustainable functioning of organizations. Objectives. To identify key categories of operational risks typical for educational institutions; to analyze the impact of these risks on the quality of education, financial conditions and reputation of educational institutions; to propose measures to reduce the negative impact of operational risks. Methods. The research was conducted using general scientific methods: theoretical analysis (based on the study of existing literature on operational risks in educational institutions), comparative analysis, and systematic approach (integrating various aspects of risks to create a holistic picture of problems). Results. It was found that the main problems affecting the implementation of operational risks are the following ones: a shortage of qualified teachers, insufficient funding for infrastructure maintenance and a low level of digitalization of educational processes. In addition, the protection of personal data and following the compliance requirements also present significant risks. Conclusion. Minimizing specific operational risks in educational institutions requires development of comprehensive management programs, including staff training and motivation, infrastructure modernization, introduction of modern data protection technologies and ensuring timely response to changes in legislation and regulatory requirements.
