Beam Optimization in Low Altitude Scenario
This paper primarily analyzes the characteristics and issues of existing mobile wireless networks provided by telecom operators for low-altitude coverage, and explores construction and planning schemes for low-altitude wireless networks. It studies the low-altitude coverage capability of single base stations under different antenna types, scenarios, and beam configurations, with a focus on integrated air and terrestrial coverage. From the field test results, it is clear that existing ground networks can provide integrated air and terrestrial coverage with good effects. Moreover, this paper investigate feasible cluster schemes based on different beam optimization solutions that are both low-cost and high-performance, providing references for future low-altitude deployments by telecom operators.
