THE PROJECT APPROACH IN THE STRATEGIC PLANNING SYSTEM OF A MUNICIPALITY AS A WAY TO INCREASE ITS COMPETITIVENESS

The author's article systematizes the knowledge and experience of project activities in the process of strategic planning at the municipal level. A systematic understanding of the structure of project activities is proposed, and the experience of implementing a project approach at the municipal level, acquired by the author while participating in the development of strategies for the socio-economic development of municipalities in the Vladimir region, is systematized. The author's practical experience in implementing the project approach can be useful in the work of local governments and used in the further development of theoretical aspects of strategic planning at the municipal level.
