kW femtosecond laser with beam steering functionality for optimized productivity
We report on a kW femtosecond laser architecture with a beam steering functionality allowing temporal and spatial splitting of the output beam to address two distinct high speed scanner systems with excellent precision. The laser source is based on a hybrid fiber/slab-based amplifier architecture to deliver 1.3 kW average power and more than 10mJ pulse energy. The pulse duration can be tuned from roughly 600 fs to several ps depending on the needs of the application. The high precision triggering is attained through FemtoTrig®.
